On May 28th 2022, the 10th edition of the Company Run was held, which aim is charity activity. Tectum Group took part in the event for the third time.
Here at Tectum Group we try to spend our time actively after work. Therefore, on Saturday, May 28th, we once again took part in the Corporate Run organized by the Everest Foundation.
This year’s Company Run was organized for the tenth time. The aim of the organizer, the Everest Foundation, is to help sick and disabled children in difficult situations. You can read more about the Everest Foundation here.
For us, participation in the run is important for many reasons – through our activity, we help those in need, at the same time, during the preparations, we motivate ourselves together to achieve better and better results. And the final effect which is a virtual relay race, always arouses only positive motivation in us, which leads to internal competition.
The first organized run, in which representatives of Tectum Group in Poland took part, took place in November 2019 and it was the Independence Run. 6 runners took part in our debut joint run.
The pandemic meant that, unfortunately, the above-mentioned Independence Run was the only “stationary” race in which we took part. Fortunately, the Company Run was developed in a new formula, which allowed for the creation of a virtual relay race. In 2020, we managed to collect two full five-person relay teams, in which each participant had the goal of covering 5 kilometers in the best possible time with the support of a mobile application.
In 2021 we also took part in Company run but 20 runners took part in event. This year we repeated this and also four full five-person relay teams took part. We aim to continue running together and we all hope it will be possible to run in traditional events soon.
